Environmental Monitoring App

Contracted through QUARTZ:IT, I inherited a React Native codebase that had accumulated years of cross-platform rendering bugs and performance issues on Android. I led the complete rewrite in Flutter, preserving all existing features while resolving the rendering inconsistencies and improving the app's cold-start time by 40%. The new Firebase Realtime Database integration replaced a polling-based API with a true push-sync layer, giving users live allergen data without noticeable battery drain.
